jay song | lead & teaching pastor
Jay is the Lead Pastor at TNC. He received his B.A. in Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara and his M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology. Jay is married to the love of his life, Christina and they have three children, Rylie, Isaac, and Jacob. Although both Jay and Christina are SoCal natives (go Lakers), they have grown to love the Bay Area, its culture, and most importantly, the people. Besides Jesus, Jay has been influenced by Tim Keller, John Piper, and the many pastors and church planters that God has placed in his life.
eugene park | executive & teaching pastor
Eugene is the Executive Pastor at TNC. He received his B.A. in International Affairs from UC Riverside and his M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology. Eugene was born and raised in the Bay Area and met his beautiful wife, Sylvia, in college through their campus ministry. They have two children, Elijah and Sydney. Eugene’s passions include the Golden State Warriors, good coffee, and finding new music. His greatest passion is to see the Gospel integrated into all aspects of life, especially here in the Bay Area.
JEAN KIM | YOUTH & teaching pastor
Jean is the Youth Pastor at TNC. He received his B.S. in Psychology from UC Davis and his M.Div. in Spiritual Formation from Talbot School of Theology. Originally from Buffalo, NY, but raised in the Bay Area, Jean is a passionate supporter of the Buffalo Bills, along with Bay Area favorites, the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants. Jean also enjoys playing sports such as tennis and basketball. He is also competitive when it comes to board games. Jean is married to his beautiful wife Hyemin and they have one son, Jaden.
SYLVIA PARK | Kids Ministry Director/Women’s Ministry Director
Sylvia is the Director of Kids Ministry as well as the Director of Women’s Ministry at TNC. She graduated from UC Riverside where she met her husband, Eugene, and completed her teaching credential program at Biola University. Sylvia has a huge passion for building up the next generation and empowering women in the Church to grow in Christ. When she’s not busy chasing after her two kids, Elijah and Sydney, you may find Sylvia enjoying a book at a cafe.
David Kang | Worship Production Director
David is the Worship Production Director at TNC. He attended UCLA for his undergraduate years where he discovered his passion for numbers. Although originally from Southern California, David has made the Bay Area his home and loves music, people, and exploring other parts of the world in his free time. You can find him nerding out about data, rotating through different instruments in a jam session, or out on the course for his new golf obsession.
